Traders just like you have been competing in the World Cup Trading Championships® since 1983. 

They compete because it’s easy to enter, fun to participate and potentially rewarding. It’s the ultimate way to test your skills and earn the respect of the trading community.

Flexibility

In both the World Cup Championship of Futures Trading® and World Cup Championship of Forex Trading®, traders will use their own strategies. Some will day-trade, while others will hold their positions for weeks or months. Some will use discretionary methods, while others will use computerized programs. Each trader uses his or her own methods with one goal in mind: Post the highest possible net return by the end of the competition. Account minimums are $10,000 in the futures competition and $5,000 in the forex event.

Real Time, Real Money

The public can watch traders jockeying for a position on a daily-updated World Cup Leader board. When the final results are in, top finishers share in these spoils:

  • Magnificent Bull & Bear trophies that will last a lifetime for the Top Three finishers.
  • Notoriety in press releases, taped interviews and magazine articles.
  • The opportunity to join the WorldCupAdvisor.com advisory team.

That last perk might be the most significant because a spot on the World Cup Advisor staff can be a career-changer. Strong World Cup Championship performances produce track records that can be used to promote live trading programs on WorldCupAdvisor, where the public is invited to automatically make the same trades as WCA advisors on a monthly subscription basis.

What does it take to win?

It can vary dramatically from year to year. In 1987, Larry Williams won the year-long World Cup Championship of Futures Trading® with an astounding 11,376% net return. In 2001, a modest 53% return captured the crown. View standings.

There are 3 paths to becoming an Advisor:

  1. The first path is to compete and win a trophy in a World Cup Trading Championships®

  2. If competing in a trading contest is not for you, but would like to develop a track record with WCA, and begin offering your leader-follower service at a later date, the second path to becoming an Advisor might be for you. Traders can establish a track record in WCA’s Incubator Program. Incubator accounts reside on the back-end and are not disclosed on WCA until you think it’s ready for the public’s review. If the performance is not what you expected, you can always stop trading and close your account at any time.

  3. If you are a professional with established credentials and/or a trading educator, you don’t need to prove your talent in the World Cup Trading Championships® or go through a lengthy screening process. If you’re ready to participate, we’re ready to help. This can be accomplished by joining WCA’s advisory team and relying on its infrastructure and marketing expertise.

After you complete one of the paths above, you continue to trade your personal account with your own money at risk while WorldCupAdvisor takes care of the rest: Marketing, sales, AutoTrade execution, accounting and more.

DATA RETENTION

Information collected may be retained for a period of five (5) years or more, depending on whether the information is transactional, marketing related or falls under requirements set forth by regulatory or government bodies including, but not limited to, the NFA, CFTC, or FINRA.

 

ACCESS TO DATA

Designated personnel have access to personal data stored by WCC. Additionally relevant client designated administrators may be granted access to personal data pertaining to the client’s employees. In some cases third-party vendors of WCC  (such as IT consultants) may need to access this data, however in all cases they will be required to comply with internal WCC Information Security Policies and Procedures.  You have the right to receive from WCC confirmation on whether your personal data has been processed or whether WCC holds your personal data.  Upon request, WCC will provide you with the personal data that WCC has regarding you.
